Twin Club MC is one of the oldest clubs in Sweden, it was founded in Norrtälje in the spring of 1969.
The first clubhouse were located in the southern parts of town, the so called "Bolkorna".
In 1977 the city let us rent a bigger house at "Färsna" in the other end of the town. The house was a mess, but being a pretty large club at that time it soon was fixed up.
During this time the club had the garage in the old steam brewery in the centre of town. This was not a place we could stay in forever, so we started looking round for a new place. We found out that the Swedish "Systembolaget", the states alcohol sales organisation wanted to get rid of a building in Luleå in northern Sweden. We bought it for 1 (one!) Sw. crown, pulled it down, drove it to Norrtälje and rebuilt it here at a site we rented from the town. In the winter of 1987 our new garage was ready.
Some years later we found out that we had to leave the clubhouse in Färsna due to new restoring needs and other building plans from the town. We decided that we were going to build a new clubhouse on top of the garage, witch we did.
Having around 50 members at this time, most categories of builders and such were to be found in the club, and after about two years we opened our new clubhouse in 1994.
Today the club has around 40 members, male and female. Most members ride H-D, but there are also Indian, Triumph, Norton and others in the garage.
Most of what we do relates to motorcycles in some way, but we also do some sports and a lot of partys!
We also take a lot of time to arrange one of the most well renown bike exhibitions in Europe, Custom Bike Show.
By the way, Norrtelje is the old spelling of Norrtälje and the upside-down anchor is the city arms of Norrtälje
